Koal Micralube
Koal #1234
Micralube is a special blend of organic additives combined with a special blend of solvents to form a highly
successful and multipurpose vanishing, non-staining cutting fluid for all alloys of aluminum but more
specifically aluminum extrusion.
In particular, Micralube #1234, has met with great success in the aluminum extrusion and mill supply
industries as a fluid or mist spray coolant and lubricant for cut off saws and band saws. However, the
product has been found to e equally effective in:
Light gauge metal stamping - steel, aluminum, brass.
Drilling, tapping and general machining.
Machining aluminum and zinc die castings.
Roll forming.
The unique merits of this product stem from its excellent lubricating properties while at the same time
evaporating (vanishing)in 15 to 20 minutes leaving parts absolutely free of residue, chips and idrt. Often
time finished parts can even be painted with good paint adhesion and with no prior cleaning.
The following properties offer the use unique cost savings opportunities -
1. Completely vanishes in 15 to 20 minutes.
2 No reside or stains.
3. High flash point of 125F
4. Absolutely no odor or smell.
5. Machines stay clean and like new with no oil or residue buildup.

Finished parts may be painted, glued, packaged or heat treated or annealed without washing or secondary

machining by spray misting directly at tool metal contact.
