Koal Microcool
Koal # 1201.6
This product is an entirely new and unique high quality semi-synthetic water reducible machining and
grinding coolant ideally suitable for production work with:
Cast iron alloys, Aluminum castings and extrusions, Steel and Stainless steel alloys,
And Copper and Brasses
Although it was specifically designed for high volume production machining and grinding operations, it is
equally suitable for job shop environments where long standing coolant sumps are the norm.

Koal #1248
Micro Cool is a highly concentrated, water soluble, all purpose machining and grinding coolant specifically
for the modern high production machinery to today. This product is classified as a semi-synthetic which
forms a very stable water emulsion system that can tolerate large quantities of tramp oil contamination
without breakdown. Microcool#1248 gives excellent corrosion protection while machining. Sump life is
excellent even during periods of long machinery inactivity. This product can be freely used on all metals
(except magnesium) without the fear of corrosion on machined parts even during periods of prolonged
storage. It is a long lived coolant with a very competitive price.
Recommended Dilutions:
Machining: Stainless & high carbon steels 15:1 to 20:1 with water
Other ferrous metals 20:1 with water
Non-ferrous metals 20:1 with water
Grinding: All metal depending on the speed
of the wheel and feed of the stock 20:1 to 40:1 with water
Features:
1. Blue green in color, allows the easy identification of correct dilution.
2. Excellent lubricity giving superb tool life.
3. Very clean coolant allowing for the quick settling of metal chips and fines. This keeps the
machine pars clean an allows for consistent tolerance control with no sticky buildup on parts.
4. Outstanding corrosion and stain resistance on all metals (except magnesium)
