Koal Propietary Acid
Koal #332
This is an acidic liquid material specifically designed as an after cleaning metal treatment and a surface activator
prior to copper flash, nickel and chrome plating of zinc die castings and brass.
Koal # 332 may be effectively used on zinc die castings as well as brass, copper and ferrous metals to promote:
This product substantially reduces hydrogen gas, with over two-thirds reduction of metal removal to that of
conventional muriatic and sulfuric acid baths. Thus, providing an exceptional bath life.
This product is also used individually with water as acid dip prior to plating ferrous metals.
This product helps to eliminate hydrogen embrittlement and oxide formation.
It also reduces the porosity of nickel deposit, increases throwing power in blind holes and corners for more uniform
plating.
Salt spray resistances increases when using a 5 to 1 dilution with water at temperatures of 160 -170F.
Koal #332 can remove heat treat scale and weld marks also.
