Aqueous Resin Coating
Koal #1102
This product is water based one part system forming a clear, flexible, hard resin coating that prevents
corrosion of metals.
It is especially designed to prevent tarnishing or greening of copper, brass or bronze surfaces.
Koal #1102 provides a balance of salt-spray resistance, high adhesion, ductility, and outdoor exposure
with superior humidity and acid fume protection. When dried, Koal #1102 forms a clear, non-yellowing high
gloss coating to enhance the luster of copper alloy hardware.
It can be applied without dilution by dipping, spraying, electro-coating, or roller coating followed by air dry or
heat curing at up to 200F. It can be thinned with water up to 50% if thinner coatings are desired. For dip
tank operations, parts should be thoroughly rinsed with water before dipping.
This product eliminates objectionable odors associated with solvent based lacquers.
