Zinc Phosphate Coarse Conversion Coatings
Koal #15
This product is highly concentrated, one component, liquid zinc phosphating formulation designed
specifically for high volume production in soak or spray applications. The product, when diluted to proper
concentrations yields coating weights of between 600 to 1200mgs/sq ft in time cycles of 5 to 15 minutes
depending on process temperatures. The dense moderately course crystalline deposit presents and ideal
base for post processing oil dip, heavy primers for high corrosion resistance, and for adhesion bonding or
rubber molding applications such as automotive engine mounts.

Koal #15A employs a uniquely balanced formulations that yields a very dense tightly sludge levels. This
insures the user a solution that deposits more of its zinc a phosphate coating than as a precipitate at the
bottom of the process tank.

Advantages:
A very dense, moderately, moderately course crystalline zinc phosphate deposit that  displays
a strong crystalline bond to steel surfaces.

A coating that displays excellent corrosion resistance (between 75 and 100 hours of salt/fog)when
coated with Koal #651 pre-mixed water soluble rust preventative.

A single component system with no separate replenishers or accelerators required.

Very low sludging characteristics, minimizing system maintenance.
